Using Your Valet Skills to Earn Money

The skills required to be a valet are very useful in any situation. If you are very handy around the house and graceful in your mannerisms, then you may find that being a valet is exactly the job for you. It may sound ridiculous if you have never considered it before, but it is quite possible, especially due to the low amount of new valets in recent years. There are several ways you can use your skills to become a valet and earn money, and you should try each of these outlets to find a valet job for you. You may not have any luck, but you may also find the career that has been waiting for you all of your life.

First you can look to join an agency that introduced valets to people in need of their services. These exist all over the world, and may introduce you to a long term or short term job. You may need to show evidence of your skills as a manservant, or some sort of education in a relevant field. It is fairly easy to become a part of these agencies, and you will quickly begin receiving job offers. Generally you will go to the house of your perspective employer, and chat with him for a few hours. If you feel that your personalities are compatible, then you may have just found a job.

You can also try to advertise some sort of private service. This is much tougher, and is only a good idea if you don’t have a local agency like the one described above. You can place an ad in the paper, or even just keep an eye on the “Help Wanted” section to see if anyone needs assistance. This is a rather sketchy way to get a job, since most people will probably by slightly apprehensive about hiring a complete stranger to live in their house and take care of them. When screened through an agency, you will appear much more professional and more legitimate.

A valet job takes a lot of devotion, since most hours are very taxing. You will not only have to care for yourself, but also care for your employer. But if you think you are capable of living such a hectic life, you should definitely try for it. It may be a challenge, but the money is definitely worth it. There are many lucrative valet jobs, and if you find one you will be very well off.
